  7. Ha ha, this is a fantastic post! I don't read a whole lot of NA (none of the storylines seem to appeal to me...) but this had me grinning.

  9. I'm so glad you loved this book as much as I did! I definitely thought it was the better of the two :D.

    Awesome review!

  10. If I can recommend you one? Addicted to You by Krista & Becca Ritchie is amazing!

  11. I really need to! It's been on my Goodreads TBR forever! Especially since I love Diana Peterfreunds other (sort of) NA series Secret Society Girl from before NA was a thing ha. I will definitely check out your review haha. Or I'll read a few lines until I'm dying to read it and immediately hop on over to Amazon (totally blaming you if this happens!)

  12. They really are! I've never really thought about it before. I think that with NA they're just more obvious, to me anyway.

  13. That one kills me! But yeah, I'd love to see an NA that has none of these. I wonder would it work haha

  14. I think that's my least favourite of the points I've written in the post. I just really had that one, and hate to think of younger girls reading it and expecting that to be a normal relationship! I would love to see an NA where this wasn't present but so far I've had no luck!

  15. Thank you! I would recommend giving it a shot, there are a few gems in the genre. If you ever want to give it a try I would recommend giving Addicted to You by Krista & Becca Ritchie a shot. I LOVED that one!

  19. I agree with you: I read the novellas after ToG & CoM and I wish I'd read the novellas first. And like you, my favorite character in the series is clearly Celaena!! Gah, I have ALL the love for her ♥ And yes TEAM CHAOL all the way :D

I also have nothing but praise for Maas' writing style and I also agree that CoM is even better than ToG, which is a rare thing. I find that often sequels tend to fall short of their predecessors but it was totally not the case here! Awesome review ^^

  20. I need this book now! LOL I just finished Throne of Glass and it was interesting! :)

  21. I read the novellas after Throne of Glass and before Crown of Midnight and it actually enhaces the read for CoM I think, since a lot of the events have even more emotional resonnance that way!
And YES Team Chaol aaaall the way!
This one was my worst book hangover last year, and I'm scared for Heir of Fire, since I feel it's gonna be another massive book hangover for me!!
